Overview

Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small industries is first such chamber of Pakistan that represents small traders & small industries. ICSTSI came into being after the approval of trade organization bill 2013 from legislative authorities of Pakistan. On 3rd October, 2013 Regulator Trader Organization gave license of ICSTSI under Trade Organization Bill 2013 which regulates the trader bodies of Pakistan.

Our Mission

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and the cornerstone of Pakistan. We are working every day at Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industries to elevate the voice of the traders of Islamabad’s small business owners and highlight the important role they play in the economy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. We are assisting our members in creating effective grass roots actions to increase the businesses.

Goals

  • Create a strong local economy.
  • Represent to the government by promoting supporting or oppose peacefully legislation or other measures affecting the business community, small traders, and small industrialists.
  • Provide a representative body for small traders with which government can consult and dialog on important issues of traders
  • Provide networking opportunities community.
  • To promote corporate social responsibility towards the community, environment, health and safety. Create greater awareness and knowledge through educational program. Information sessions, and specialized events.

Expertise

First small traders and small industries chamber of the Pakistan after the approval of trade organization bill 2013 from legislative authorities of Pakistan. On 3rd October, 2013 Regulator Trade organization has given license of ICSTSI under trade organization bill 2013 which regulates the trade bodies of Pakistan. Founding members are directly in touch with the community and their concerns.

Having a clear understanding of the issues faced by the small businesses they are in a position to address it at the appropriate level to the competent authority. Sovereign institute of civic interest founded October 3rd, 2013 through the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of Pakistan Representing 60,000 Small Traders and 2000 Small Industrialists from 123 Markets through its network at the grass-root level.

First such chamber in 60 years of Islamabad Came in to being because the needs of small traders and small industrialists in the ICT were not being addressed by any other institute or representative entity.
